I design digital products as systems, so the result feels obvious in hindsight, even when the problem underneath wasn't.

A little context

Background

I've spent five and a half years in product design, four and a half of them at Douglas, a multi-market European beauty retailer. Currently I'm a Senior Product Designer there, owning cart, checkout, and post-purchase.

Graphic design gave me an eye for craft first. A master's in design management pushed that further, toward systems: thinking about products as a whole rather than individual screens, and framing the problem before reaching for a solution.

Perspective

User needs and business needs aren't opposing forces to me. When they conflict, it's usually a sign the problem hasn't been scoped right yet, not that one side has to lose.

How a team works together matters just as much to me as what we're building. I spar with teammates on direction before it hits review, stay neutral when stakeholders disagree so the group can see tradeoffs clearly, and make space for quieter voices in critique.

Lately I've been curious about AI. I built the Figma plugins I use daily and coded this site myself with Cursor, GitHub, and Vercel, which has brought me closer to the engineers I work with.
